Peruth is a student from Uganda. She is the 3rd born in a family of 6 children with 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Her elder brother is a builder and younger one is a student. All her sisters are still studying too. She is almost done with her tailoring training and her wish is to get her own tailoring machine so that she can be self-employed in the future. However, she is very worried about the capital. She is still under the care of her parents who are small-scale farmers.
For three years, she has had an anterior swelling on the left side of the neck She has pain, intermittent numbness, and struggles to turn her neck. Peruth tried managing the condition with pain medication but it persisted and they thus sought treatment in Nyakibale Hospital.
On September 13th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Peruth needs help to raise $137 to fund this procedure.
Peruth’s mother says “I feel sad seeing my daughter in such a painful state yet am unable to make her get well, I request for your support for her surgery and I hope she will get better after surgery.”
