Korn Nitha is a retired teacher from Cambodia. He has five children and one grandchild. He learned about our medical partner from a former staff member.
More than twenty years ago, following an injury, Korn Nitha developed a cataract in each eye, causing him blurry vision and discomfort. He has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
When Korn Nitha learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for three hours seeking treatment. On September 25, doctors will perform small incision cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in each eye. After recovery, he will be able to see clearly. Now, he needs help to fund this $398 procedure.
His wife says, “I’m worried about my husband and want him to get better.”
