Balinda is a farmer from Uganda. Balinda lives with his nephew, who helps him at home.
For five years, Balinda has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. This hydrocele has greatly increased in size, making it difficult for him to walk and causing him pain. Fortunately, on September 19, he will undergo hydrocele repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $185 to fund Balinda’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
He says, “After surgery I will have peace of mind and resume farming.”
