Mijumbi is a farmer from Uganda. He is married and a father of four children. His wife is also a farmer, and they work together to sustain their family.
Since last year, Mijumbi has had an inguinal scrotal hernia. This hernia causes him pain and discomfort, and this is affecting his ability to work. Fortunately, on July 18, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Mijumbi’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
He says, “About a year I have been suffering. I need help so that I can continue with my daily work after recovery.”
