Margaret is a farmer from Kenya. She is married and a mother of two children, who are casual laborers.
For three months, Margaret has been experiencing severe bleeding, which led to her becoming severely anemic. She has been diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $718 to fund Margaret’s surgery. On November 10, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Once recovered, Margaret will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
