Tusingwire is a farmer from Uganda. She separated with her husband and is a mother of three boys. She cultivates food for both home consumption and for sale.
Since 2017, Tusingwire has had an inguinal hernia. This hernia causes her lower abdominal pain and back pain, making her unable to work in the farm. Fortunately, on June 13, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Tusingwire’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
She says, “After surgery I will continue with farming since what has been disturbing me will have been removed.’’
