Ngiragyezi is a farmer from Uganda. He is a married father to seven children with three boys and four girls, all who are married and are small scale farmers. He grew up in an era where education wasn’t valued therefore he never went to school himself. He currently earns a living from small scale farming where he operates small gardens of beans, groundnuts, and maize for home consumption, and sells off the surplus. He also has a banana and coffee plantation which he operates with his dear wife.
Three years ago, Ngiragyezi developed an inguinal hernia. This hernia causes him pain and discomfort and pain. Fortunately, on August 18, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Ngiragyezi’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Ngarigyera says “I hope that once I undergo my surgery with your support, I will regain my strength and resume with farming.”
