Pradip is an 11-year-old boy living in Nepal with his parents and siblings. He loves going to school and playing with his friends.
While Pradip was playing hide and seek with his friends, he tripped over a stone and fell, fracturing his right hand. Since then, he has had significant, continuous pain, and has difficulty moving his injured hand due to the pain and swelling.
Seeking treatment, Pradip and his father traveled to our medical parter, Possible, where surgery to repair his fracture was recommended. Pradip is scheduled to undergo fracture repair surgery on his hand on April 20, and is requesting $195 to cover the total cost of the procedure.
Following recovery Pradip is expected to have restored mobility and functionality of his right hand. His pain will be resolved, and the swelling will recede over time. Pradip’s father adds that he is grateful that his son’s treatment is happening soon.
