Levis is a beautiful eight-month-old child. His father works as an electrician, and his mother worked as a shop attendant until his birth. Levis was born with hydrocephalus, which is a condition where cerebral-spinal fluid accumulates in his head and exerts pressure on his brain.
At our medical partner’s care center, Levis had a CT scan to determine a proper course of treatment. Based on these results, Levis will need surgery to help drain the fluid from the head. If not treated, Levis may suffer developmental problems, brain damage, or even premature death. He will need $685 to cover the cost of the procedure, as his parents are unable to contribute. His procedure is scheduled for September 12.
Levis’s mother says, “I wish to see my only child grow as a normal child with minimal health complications.” She looks forward to the prospect of a successful future for him after treatment.
