Nhor is a 70-year-old grandmother from Cambodia. She is married and has one daughter and six grandchildren. In her free time, Nhor likes to listen to monks pray at her local pagoda and watch Thai movies.
About three years ago, Nhor developed a cataract in each eye, causing her blurred vision, tearing, and itchiness. Nhor’s condition has made it difficult for her to be independent. Hearing about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from a neighbor, she decided to seek treatment.
On June 22, Nhor will undergo cataract repair surgery on both eyes. CSC is asking for $398 to cover the cost of her treatment.
After surgery, Nhor is looking forward to seeing clearly again!
