Hannah is a farmer from Kenya. She loves reading the Bible and spending time with other women in her village. She has five children, and she lives with her grandson in central Kenya.
Recently, Hannah developed a cataract in her left eye, causing her blurry vision. A cataract occurs when the lens of the eye becomes opaque. She is not able to read her Bible, and working on her farm is also becoming difficult.
Fortunately, Hannah is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Surgeons will remove and replace the blurred lens. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $220 procedure.
Hannah says, “I wish to be treated and continue to see with fewer issues in my eye.”
