Ganga is a 65-year-old woman from Nepal. Recently, she was grazing her goats when a buffalo began to chase her. Running from the buffalo, she slipped and broke her right leg. Soon, her leg swelled and grew painful. She needed assistance to move around. She traveled for six hours to reach our medical partner’s care center, Bayalpata Hospital. There, she underwent a fracture repair procedure on December 18.
Ganga’s husband passed away eight years ago, so she lives alone. She sells goats to make a living and receives support from the government. She cannot afford healthcare, so our medical partner, Possible, is requesting $541 in funding.
