Nasuuna is a farmer from Uganda. She is a married mother with one child, who dropped out of school and is currently working as a domestic house maid in Kampala. Her husband is a small-scale farmer and he also earns a living through farming for both home consumption and for income. They earn less from their farm due to using poor agricultural methods.
Nasuuna presented at the hospital with a mass on her left leg, which she has had for the past ten years. She experiences pain and discomfort when walking.
Nasuuna traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On March 10th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Nasuuna needs help to raise $187 to fund this procedure.
Nasuuna says “I hope that all my worry for pain will go after I have received my surgery.”
