Kamuli is 36 years old and farms with her husband to cultivate food for home consumption. She the mother of two boys.
Recently, Kamuli began to experience uncomfortable gynecological symptoms and urinary dysfunction. A doctor referred her to our medical partner’s care center, Holy Family Virika Hospital, where she was been diagnosed with a fistula. She needs surgery to repair this sensitive condition.
As a subsistence farmer, Kamuli is unable to pay for the fistula repair surgery. In order to help her, our medical partner is requesting $297 to fund the procedure and Kamuli’s hospital stay. She is scheduled to have the procedure on July 4.
