Owarwo is a farmer from Uganda. He is a married father to ten children with two sons: one a nurse and the other a small scale farmer. Of his eight daughters, he shared that one is a nurse and the other seven are married and earning a living as small-scale farmers. Owarwo studied and completed through the seventh grade but never proceeded due to lack of school fees. He currently earns a living from his banana and coffee plantation which he operates together with his wife.
Owarwo received an earlier surgery and presented with a painful swelling on his scrotum that he has had for two months now. The mass is increasing in size and causing him discomfort.
Owarwo traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment and on September 8th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Owarwo needs help to raise $196 to fund this procedure.
Owarwo shared with us, “I hope that all will go well after my surgery because this pain has become a burden to me. I will resume with farming after I have completely recovered.”
