Piseth is a 67-year-old grandfather from Cambodia. He is married and has two sons, three daughters, and ten grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys looking after his grandkids and visiting his local pagoda to hear monks pray.
About one year ago, Piseth developed a cataract in each of his eyes, causing him blurred vision. His condition has made it difficult for him to see clearly and be independent. Hearing about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), Piseth decided to seek treatment.
On May 9, Piseth will undergo cataract surgery at Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre, CSC’s care center. As part of his treatment, he will receive intraocular lens implants in each of his eyes. CSC is asking for $292 to cover the cost of his care.
After surgery, Piseth will be able to see clearly again!
