Rubaranga is a small scale farmer from Uganda. She is a mother to eight children and has grown them a single mother since her husband died in 1996. Four of her daughters are already married and the rest are still in school.
One year ago, Rubaranga has had an inguinal hernia. This hernia causes her discomfort especially when she farms. Fortunately, on September 17th, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Rubaranga’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.
Rubaranga says “The only thing I pray for is for God to shower you with blessing because I couldn’t dream being relieved of this burden, am hoping for a successful surgery and continue with cultivation.”
