Yerose is a child from Ethiopia. Since birth, Yerose has had an inguinal hernia. If not treated, the hernia may result in intestinal tissue damage or death. Fortunately, on August 20, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $562 to fund Yerose’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Yerose’s father says, “We couldn’t get him the necessary treatment because the waiting list is too long in public referral hospital and we did not receive any call. Now we came here with a hope to get treatment by a recommendation of another physician.”

Yerose underwent hernia surgery.
Yerosen’s treatment was successful and has prevented the chance of bowel obstruction, pain and discomfort that the Hernia caused. Yerosen is recovering well from the surgery.
Yerosen’s parent said “Our stay in the hospital was very good. He is getting all the help he needs. And the outcome of the surgery is good. We are very happy for this surgery. And we are very thankful for our sponsor Watsi. God bless their work and reward them for their good deed.”
