Thol is a 64-year-old farmer from Cambodia. He is married with four daughters and one son. In his free time, he likes to listen to the news on the radio, watch the boxing channel on TV, and chat with friends.
About eight years ago, Thol developed a painful mass on his face. He has been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, a non-invasive form of skin cancer.
Thol heard about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from his neighbor. He traveled for four hours with his wife to reach CSC for treatment. On August 2, surgeons will remove the lesion to help Thol feel comfortable again. He may then need to return to CSC for a skin graft procedure to cover the wound.
CSC requests $220 to cover Thol’s treatment.
