Oun Touch is an 18-year-old garment factory worker in Cambodia who loves reading magazines and snacking on pears. She was badly burned in a cooking fire when she was just a year old, and the injury still prevents her from living a full life.
Oun Touch had reconstructive surgery on her hand after her accident, but the scar tissue surrounding her burns has built up over the years and caused the skin to tighten. Oun Touch is losing function in her hand as a result of this, and her ability to be productive at work has suffered.
For $300, Oun Touch can receive surgery to release the tension in the skin on her hand, as well as a skin graft to repair the area. Let’s help Oun Touch live and work to her full potential!
