Wylden is a 70-year-old maize farmer from rural Malawi. He has five children and 30 grandchildren and spends his free time chatting with his wife and with his large family.
Since last month, Wylden has been having difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate—a condition that can be treated surgically. He is happy to receive care at our medical partner’s care center, Nkhoma Hospital, and is eager to return home free of any symptoms.
On August 3, Wylden will undergo prostate resection surgery. Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $733 to fund surgical materials, medication, and seventeen nights of hospital stay.
Wylden says, “I thank you for this opportunity.”
