Namirembe is a small scale farmer from Uganda. She is 44 years old and has five children. Namirembe’s husband is a night guard.
For about two years, Namirembe has had a reducible left inguinal hernia. This has affected her work performance, quality of life, and comfort. Fortunately, on November 9, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.

Namirembe says, “I hope to continue with small scale farming for the betterment of my family after surgery.”
