Navin is 16 years old and in the tenth grade. He has two sisters and two brothers. Navin likes to review his school lessons, read his school books, and watch TV in his free time.
Navin has had difficulty walking since the age of two. He experiences pain and stiffness in both knees. He heard about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from his neighbor. Navin traveled for three hours with his mother to reach CSC for treatment.
Navin first came to CSC for treatment on October 28 of last year. Surgeons successfully performed a quadriceplasty procedure on his right leg. This surgery was performed to release the tension in his leg and to increase his range of motion. Watsi donors funded this procedure.
Navin has returned to CSC to have the same procedure performed on his left leg. His treatment is scheduled for March 29. Navin and his family cannot afford the $425 necessary for his treatment. Let’s help Navin get healthy!
