Thomas is a three-year-old boy who lives with his loving grandparents. They shared this his mother left he was young. His grandfather works as a butcher, but unfortunately recently lost his job.
Thomas has been diagnosed with cryptorchidism, a condition in which one or both of the testicles remains undescended. If left untreated, Thomas will have an increased risk of developing hernias, testicular cancer, and fertility problems in the future.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), is helping Thomas receive treatment. On January 25th, he will undergo an orchidopexy to correct his condition. Now, he and his family need help raising $646 to fund his procedure and care.
Thomas’ grandfather shared, “it has been a hectic process for us to trying to get help for our grandchild. We thought it was easy but it seems harder than we thought but we hope that all will be well now.”
