Kobusingye is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with seven children. Her husband is a businessman.
Seven years ago, Kobusingye developed a swelling below the skin of her left forearm. This has disfigured her arm, and she cannot do jobs such as digging and lifting.
Kobusingye traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On June 26, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Kobusingye needs help to raise $187 to fund this procedure.
Kobusingye says, “I hope to get treated and continue with cultivation after surgery.”

Kobusingye underwent a mass removal procedure.
The lipoma on her left arm was removed. She will be able to work without pain on her farm.
