Na My is a sixth grader from Cambodia. She has one brother and one sister. She loves to play outside and watch cartoons.
On August 4, 2017, Na My was playing outside when she fell and broke her wrist. Na My is in pain, but her biggest complaints are that she can’t hold a pencil in school or a spoon when eating.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On September 5, Na My will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. This operation will align the bone to reduce pain and allow Na My to regain function in her wrist.
She says, “I hope I can use my hand again.”
