Eng is a farmer from Cambodia. She has five children, and one grandchild. She enjoys looking after her grandaughter.
On July 4, 2017, she slipped at her house and fractured her patella. She went to the emergency hospital, but didn’t have any money, so she left after her x-rays and tried traditional healing at home. She cannot walk without crutches, she’s in pain, and she has difficulty taking care of her family and doing housework.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On December 13, Eng will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. This procedure will help her walk again.
“I hope my wife can fix her left leg,” says her husband.
