Elvis is a student from Kenya. He is the second born in a family of six children. His father is a casual laborer on construction sites in Nairobi, while his mother is a stay-at-home mom.
In November 2017, Elvis fell and sustained a left elbow dislocation. He is not able to straighten his left arm or hand or lift anything.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner can help. On February 8, Elvis will undergo a repair procedure, called an open reduction and internal fixation. This procedure will enable him use his left arm and hand again. Now, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $640 to fund this procedure.
Elvis says, “I want to go back to class and excel in my studies. I wish my hand can be fixed as soon as possible.”
