Tom is a factory worker from Cambodia. He works in a shoe factory and has four siblings.
In late September, he was in a motorbike crash near his house, causing a fracture in his right thigh. He has been treated by a traditional healer in his village, but hasn’t improved: He’s in pain and can’t work.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On November 28, Tom will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. Surgery can help him walk again.
His father says, “I hope that my son can walk after surgery.”
