Tibakanya is a farmer from Uganda. She is married and a mother of nine children.
For several months, Tibakanya has had an incisional hernia. This hernia causes her pain and if not treated, the hernia may result in intestinal tissue twisting and blocking. Fortunately, on September 26, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Tibakanya’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.
She says, “After surgery I will resume farming with my husband.”
