Khin is a 29-year-old woman who lives with her family in Burma. Khin is responsible for taking care of the household since she cannot work outside of her home due to prolonged abdominal pain.
About one month ago, Khin’s abdominal pain worsened. She visited a local clinic where she received pain medication and an ultrasound, which indicated that she has a uterine mass.
Currently, Khin is experiencing abdominal and back pain. She has difficulties eating, sleeping, and walking.
On July 19, with the help of our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, Khin will undergo a CT scan. The results of the scan will hopefully allow doctors to confirm her diagnosis and determine an appropriate treatment plan. She is requesting $414 to cover the cost of her scan and hospital care.
