On a rainy day a little over a year ago, Wilson slipped, fell, and fractured his hand. If left untreated, doctors say Wilson’s injury will likely develop into arthritis and chronic pain, rendering him unable to work or support his family.
Fortunately, doctors at African Mission Healthcare Foundation can operate to restore functionality to Wilson’s hand. They are confident that with surgery, Wilson will be able to go back to living a normal life.
Wilson is a father of three. He lives with his wife in a small village and supports his family by selling fresh vegetables. Wilson sought medical help immediately after the accident, but was unable to afford surgery and so was left untreated. Eventually, the daily pain in his hand forced Wilson to stop selling vegetables. A neighbor was kind enough to take him and his family in, which he is grateful for. But Wilson hates seeing his family dependent on someone else, and longs to provide for them again. We hope to raise the money Wilson needs to get treatment and get on with his life.
