Kembabazi is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She has one sibling. Unfortunately, her parents passed away when she was an infant.
Two years ago, Kembabazi began to experience troubling symptoms, including heart palpitations, fever and dizziness. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She needs surgery to prevent her symptoms from getting worse.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Kembabazi receive treatment. She is scheduled to undergo a thyroidectomy on April 3 at our medical partner’s care center. Surgeons will remove all or part of her thyroid gland. This procedure will cost $240, and she and her family need help raising money.
Kembabazi says, “I wish my condition is relieved and I get better life after surgery and I continue with cultivation for my survival.”
