Neang Nech is a 23-year-old cosmetics seller from Cambodia. She has four sisters and enjoys listening to music and watching television in her free time.
Since she was five years old, Neang Nech has suffered from a tumor under her right eye. The tumor has been increasing slowly over time, and she cannot see clearly out of her right eye.
When Neang Nech learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, she traveled for four hours seeking treatment. On December 3rd, surgeons at CSC will perform a tumor excision procedure and facial reconstruction to help her see clearly again. Now, she needs help to fund this $606 procedure.
“I hope that after surgery, I will no longer have to worry about my daughter’s eyes and I hope she will be able to see again,” said Neang Nech’s mother.
