Sanya is a tuk-tuk driver from Cambodia. He has five brothers, and he is the youngest brother. He enjoys playing the guitar and helping his parents with their work.
Two years ago, Sanya was in a motor vehicle accident that caused a fracture in his femur. He went to a private clinic and doctors fixated hardware to heal his fracture. Now, the hardware is locking, and it makes it painful for him to walk.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On March 16, Sanya will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $214. This procedure will help him walk easily again.
He says, “After surgery I hope I can walk normally, without pain, and I want to return to work as soon as possible.”
