“When I can see again, I want to take care of my grandchildren and go visit far away provinces,” says Teav, a 76-year-old mother from Cambodia with three children and ten grandchildren.
Over the last year and a half, Teav’s vision has worsened due to hyper-mature cataracts, a condition characterized by a clouding of the eye’s lens. “Teav has been unable to recognize faces, go to the pagoda, or simply be independent,” our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), tells us.
Until she receives treatment, Teav must depend on her family for support. That’s where we step in. For only $150, we can ensure Teav receives the surgery necessary to restore her vision.
Let’s help Teav regain her independence and allow her to fulfill her ambitions to travel!
