Speria is a homemaker from Uganda, who lives with her husband and first child in a two-roomed rental house. Her husband sells roasted meat by the roadside near their village while Speria does subsistence farming. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is expecting her second child after delivering her first in December 2020.
Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section. She is not able to raise the money needed for surgery, and attempts to deliver normally might result in a bad outcome. With a C-section, doctors can better ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Speria undergo a C-Section on January 5th. This procedure will cost $252, and Speria needs your support.
Speria says, “What I pray for most is a successful delivery cause last time, I almost lost my child. Please support my planned surgery.”
