Geoffrey is a young man from Kenya. He is a father of three and is employed to pick tea leaves on tea farms.
A few days ago, Geoffrey was hit by a speeding vehicle. He suffered a mandibular fracture. It is painful and difficult for him to move his jaw, and he cannot eat or speak.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner can help. On March 1, Geoffrey will undergo a fracture repair procedure, called an open reduction and internal fixation. The treatment will help his jaw heal and he will be able to talk and eat again. Now, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $640 to fund this procedure.
“I know my wife and children will struggle for some time because no one is looking after them. I hope and believe God will make a way,” says Geoffrey.
