Muthini is a three-year-old boy from Kenya and the youngest of ten children.
Muthini was born severely knock-kneed on his right leg. Muthini’s condition makes it difficult to walk, and he trips and falls a lot while playing. If left untreated, his condition will worsen over time, making it extremely difficult to walk to school or get a job in the future.
Muthini is scheduled to undergo surgery to correct his condition on July 3. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $1,165 to cover a five-night hospital stay, labs, medication, radiology, supplies and physician consultation for his surgery.
Muthini’s mother hopes that the surgery will give her son the chance to attend school and lead a normal life.
