Daniel is an ambitious kid from Tanzania. He dreams of studying computer science, but he’s not sure he’ll be able to continue school because he cannot walk normally. Daniel was born with a foot deformity that forces him to use the outer sides of his feet when walking. This causes Daniel great pain and discomfort, and prevents him from being able to walk long distances or play football with friends.
Daniel recently completed his secondary education and “would like to become an expert in computer science.” His parents are farmers struggling to pay for education for their four children. They are unable to afford the procedure Daniel needs, which is expected to enable him to walk normally.
Let’s provide Daniel with the treatment he needs to continue school, learn to code, and maybe even start his own startup one day!
