Sothea is a construction worker from Cambodia. He has been married to his wife for thirteen years and has two daughters. He enjoys watching Chinese movies.
One year ago, Sothea was in a motorcycle accident, and he fractured his clavicle. He went to a hospital, where they fixated hardware to heal his fracture. Now, the clavicle is swollen and painful, and he needs the hardware removed. It is difficult for him to do his job.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On February 2, Sothea will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $214. This procedure will help him move more easily and without pain.
He says, “I hope that I have no pain and I am not swollen so I can return to work to support my family.”
