Rosphy is a happy four-year-old from Cambodia. She lives with her dad, who is a fisherman, her mom, and younger sister. Like most kids, Rosphy loves to play and especially enjoys pretending to cook!
Rosphy was born with strabismus, a condition in which the eyes are not aligned with each other. Typically, there is a lack of coordination with the different muscles that control eye movement. Though her vision is normal now, if left untreated this will likely cause vision impairment, especially with depth perception. Other side effects include headaches and fatigue.
Rosphy’s family is committed to helping her, and traveled six hours by bus to see healthcare providers at Children’s Surgical Center. With your help, Rosphy will receive corrective surgery to fix this condition. The surgery costs $250, and will prevent Ropshy from developing impaired vision.
