On is a 62-year-old man who is married and has three sons, four daughters, and many grandchildren. On lives with his wife who is a grocery seller.
Four years ago, On developed a cataract in his right eye, causing him photophobia, blurry vision, and irritation. He has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
When On learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for two and a half hours seeking treatment. On October 25, doctors will perform a phacoemulsification cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in his right eye. After recovery, he will be able to see clearly. Now, he needs help to fund this $229 procedure.
On says, “I hope my eye can see clearly after surgery. I would like to help my wife with her business.”

On is hopeful he can help his wife and start a clothes washing business to support their family.
On said: “I am relieved my eyesight will improve and I can make money to support my grandchildren to stay in school. I am able to take care of myself, and my family won’t worry about me anymore. Thank you to those who helped restore my eyesight.”
