Moreen is a 26-year-old pregnant, married mother of two children. She and her husband work as farmers and grow potatoes, maize, yams and millet, mainly for their family to eat. Their first child was born in 2012 and the second in 2016, both through Caesarean section due to conditions of her pregnancies.
Moreen visited our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), for examination. Doctors there recommended that she have a C-Section to deliver her baby. This will reduce the chances of maternal and neonatal mortality often associated with a high-risk pregnancy. The C-Section is planned for September 9th, and now, Moreen and her husband need help to raise $252 to fund the procedure.
Moreen shared, “I appeal for financial assistance to help me deliver my child. I will resume farming immediately after recovering.”
