28-year-old Mateso lives with her parents and sibling in Uganda. Her mother is a catechist, and her father is a farmer. Mateso used to work as a farmer, but a troubling medical condition has recently prevented her from working. The family’s income is unstable.

Now, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $297 to fund this procedure. After recovery, Mateso hopes to resume farming in order to support herself.
