John is a high school student and the seventh born child in a family of eight children. He comes from a humble family, and his parents work as farmers to provide for their family. Some of his older siblings have left home and started their own families, while others are still in school.
Eight years ago, John developed a small swelling on his head, which is also impacting his eye. Recently, he has experienced pain near the swollen area. He visited our medical partner’s care center for examination and surgery was recommended.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), is helping John receive treatment. On February 8th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, John needs help raising $145 to fund his procedure and care.
John shared, “I hope to get well through surgery because I can no longer take on my studies comfortably. I will continue with my education and hope to excel once given treatment.”
