Brendah is a 27-year-old businesswoman from Uganda. She and her family have a small retail store in the front room of their home. She shared that their income does not comfortably meet their daily needs. Brendah has two children and is expecting her third child soon. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Brendah is expecting her third child soon and visited our medical partner’s care center for review. Her doctors recommend she deliver via a caesarean section in order to ensure the safety of both Brendah and her new baby. On January 5th, Brendah will undergo a C-section at the hospital of our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH). AMH is requesting $252 to cover the cost of this procedure.
Brendah shared: “Based on my last two deliveries, I came early to ask for support for the success of my surgery because the doctor says I can’t deliver normally.”
