Danin is a seventh grade student from Cambodia. She has one brother and three sisters. She likes studying math and wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She likes to read and listen to music in her free time.
She was born with congenital nevus hemi-facial. She is very uncomfortable and self conscious about her looks.
When Danin’s family learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, they traveled for six hours seeking treatment. On December 4, surgeons at CSC will perform a skin graft procedure to to help her gain self-confidence and fix her congenital condition. Now, Danin needs help to fund this $440 procedure.
Her father says, “We are looking forward to her operation being a success and her returning to school soon.”
