Kajara shared, “I think my life will be renewed and I will be able to resume with my farm work as I am still the sole provider to my daughter and three of my grandchildren.”
Kajara is a 61-year-old man and a father of six children, including five sons and one daughter. Kajara is a small-scale farmer who grows bananas and coffee. He shared that his wife sadly passed away some time ago.
For about a year, Kajara has had a bilateral inguinal hernia. He experiences pain, particularly when passing urine or doing strenuous activities.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), is helping Kajara receive treatment. On June 8th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at AMH’s care center, and now AMH is requesting $230 to fund Kajara’s surgery. Once complete, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
