Bopha is a four-year-old primary school student. She has three sisters. She likes to play with toys and watch TV in her free time.
Bopha has not been feeling well recently, so her father decided to try to get her medical treatment. Bopha’s father heard about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from his relative. Bopha traveled for three hours with her father by motorbike to reach CSC for treatment.
Bopha was diagnosed with adenoid hypertrophy, which means her adenoids are enlarged. She experiences ear discharge, runny nose, and sneezing. It is difficult for Bopha to breathe. ENT surgeons at CSC will remove Bopha’s adenoids, and she will be able to breath easily again. Her surgery is scheduled for May 29.
Bopha’s treatment will cost $221. Her parents cannot afford this surgery and are requesting help from Watsi to fund her treatment.
After surgery, Bopha will be able to go back to being a regular child.
